Guillermo (Bill) was born in Mexico City and raised in the Chicagoland area since
1958.
He attended Holy Innocents Grammer School, graduated from Lane Tech High School
in 1974, proudly served in the US Army 1975-78 and was Honorably Discharged in 1981.
He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois
University in 1984 (3.5/4.0 GPA).
Past and current memberships have included Treasurer Wicker Park/Bucktown Chamber
Of Commerce, Illinois CPA's for the Public Interest, Phi Beta Kappa, National Honors
Fraternity.
Guillermo's career started when he worked for two CPA firms for 5 years then went
into the private sector for 2 years. He felt the call to return to public accounting
and started Arauz & Company in January of 1990. |
